Children’s Privacy Supplement

Last updated June 26, 2026

This Children’s Privacy Supplement applies to Homeschool Survival Plan (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and supplements our main Privacy Policy. It explains how we specifically handle information relating to children in connection with our Services.

In Short

Our Services are designed for parents and guardians to use on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children; all student information is provided by a parent or legal guardian.

Homeschool Survival Plan is a tool intended to help parents and legal guardians plan, track, and manage their children’s homeschool education. Our Services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly market or advertise our Services to children under the age of 13.

How Children’s Information Is Collected

All student information processed through our Services — including but not limited to student names, ages, grade levels, attendance records, lesson completion records, reading logs, grades, and related educational records — is entered, managed, and controlled exclusively by the parent or legal guardian who creates and maintains the family account. Children do not register their own accounts, provide their own information directly to us, or otherwise interact with our Services independent of parental supervision and control.

Parental Consent

By creating a family account and entering information about a child, you affirm that:

Parental Rights

As the parent or legal guardian, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@homeschoolsurvivalplan.com. We will respond to and verify all such requests in accordance with applicable law, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

No Direct Collection from Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and we do not knowingly allow children to create accounts, communicate with other users, or otherwise interact with our Services without parental involvement. If we become aware that we have collected personal information directly from a child without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Educational Records

To the extent that information collected through our Services constitutes “education records” under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), we process such information solely at the direction of, and for the benefit of, the parent or legal guardian who controls the family account. We do not share education records with third parties except as necessary to provide the Services (such as our service providers described in our main Privacy Policy) or as required by law.

Relationship to Our Main Privacy Policy

This Supplement should be read together with our main Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between this Supplement and the main Privacy Policy specifically regarding children’s information, this Supplement controls.
